Last month, Bing came up with an experimental search layout, which is much cleaner than its current layout. Like Google, Microsoft has even used its own browser (IE9) only, for the experiment. You will not see this new Bing layout on any other browser.
Unfortunately, we do not have an official screen-shot to show you for now. However, we will be briefing you about the new layout standout, extensively.
Here, is the current layout for the term “SEO”.
Where does the new layout standout?
Now, if you use Bing on IE9, check for the following changes:
- Removal of the tabs above the search results (which are already located at the top of the page)
- Larger search box
- Current location information is scrapped
- Addition of 3 to 4 related terms below the search box along with those in the left section.
We assume that Bing might see a number of layouts being tested, before they finalize some data on a redesign.
